Poetry: A Prayer of Why
October 6, 2011
I found this old piece of mine, stashed out in a notebook somewhere. And I thought it sounds a little bit suited for a music piece. Anyone agree??
Dear God,
Why have you let me be
Set in a world that’s free
A place full of conspiracies
And unspoken mysteries
Why have you let me face
A friend who always stays
A person who willfully serves
Kindness i dont deserve
Why offer me a special someone
Whom at first i’ve never won
Who’s now by my side is here
Who promised ro be forever near
Why in the world I’ve been granted
A life full of things so wanted
Why in the world its me
This wonderful things must see.
