How LadyBossBlogger Helped Me Open Up to More Blogging Opportunities

LadyBossBlogger is really a blogging boss and she definitely helped open my eyes to more blogging opportunities through her course “How to Make Money Blogging”

A few weeks have passed after I published a post about collaborating with Ms. Elaine Rau, of LadyBossBlogger.com about her ‘How to Make Money Blogging‘ course.

Since then, I started observing some growth on my blog by simply applying tips she generously offered on the course.

4 Helpful Tips From Elaine Rau

1. Utilize Social Media Effectively for Blog Marketing

I have been fond of Instagram even before I started the course. But since finishing the course, and applying her tricks on how to make my Instagram feed more appealing to eyes, I have seen a considerable increase in likes and follows. Granted, I don’t have a million followers yet, but in time, with all the tips she provided on the course and everything I learned in between, I know someday I will be there.

Understanding the use of Pinterest also helped increase my blog post readership. As an example, when I started creating uniform pin-nable images at the bottom of each of my posts and pinning it on my board, in a few short weeks my posts increased viewership. This is a great deal for me considering that I am only a blogger part-time – seeing an increase on page views compared to my older posts is a huge, huge improvement for me!!

2. Have a Strategic Way of Creating Post to Get over Writer’s Block

Writer’s Block. Writing a blog post for a whole day? I feel attacked.

This is always an issue for me. I always have to maintain a proper rhythm in content creation so that I won’t lose all the words from my head.

With Elaine’s “10 Ways To Write The Perfect Post And Get Over Writers Block” segment on the course, I finally found the perfect steps in coming out with a topic and completing blog posts in no time.

3. Pitching is Hard but Sometimes Necessary

For me, pitching myself in a positive light is always a challenge. But, in order to monetize in blogging, it’s necessary to speak of the blog positively and not drag yourself into the mud with your own words.

With the tips and tricks on pitching that Elaine shared on her course, I learned that with a few word changes, I can put myself out there for other companies to see using empowered words and proper wording even though I am just starting out.

4. The Legal Aspects are Important too!

I am new to this country (the US) and learning about the legal workarounds of starting a business is still a little bit overwhelming.

With Elaine’s help and basic explanations, I was able to understand the difference between Sole Proprietorship and Limited Liability companies. I also became aware of the fact that bloggers are can apply for tax deductions here as long as they are earning money from it.

I finally understood what General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) means, what the FDC Endorsement Guidelines really talk about, and that Plagiarism is still a blogging capital sin!

BTW if you’re not getting into a niche because you think it’s “too saturated”… STOP. There is no such thing.

Final Thoughts

There are so many practical tips included in this course and the main thing that stood out for me is that quote above. That pessimistic mentality of doing blogging helps prevent me from monetizing my blog. I have to constantly remind myself that I am unique and my voice matters in this niche that I chose and comparing myself to people above or before me is harmful not only for my blogging career but also for my general mental health.

All in all, the idea of this course is structured in a way that bloggers of all levels can totally relate to. So read on if you want to learn more…
